Why use an Auslan interpreter?
When a Deaf person visits a service such as their Doctor, TAFE or a Centrelink office they may need the assistance of an interpreter.
An Interpreter has the skill to convey the message in the sign language the person prefers.

How to work with an interpreter
- if possible, supply the interpreter with any notes.
- The interpreter sits next to the hearing person
