My name is Antony Daamen, I have lived in Townsville since September 2000

was set up in 2004 because Queensland Deaf Society (QDS, but now called Deaf Services Queensland) closed it's office in Townsville.

What do we do?

The biggest concern for most hearing people who work or socialize with a person who is Deaf is: communication.

is working to overcome this by becoming a partner in communication.

achieves this by:

services all industries that have Deaf and Hearing Impaired people as employees, customers, clients or patients.
